The planet of Eden is relatively small, big enough to hold two small continents that together are the size of New Zealand on earth with a few smaller islands further out. There are two large landmasses, one landmass, holds the tree, and the other holds its roots, both of which can be seen clearly from space. The planet has one sun, and two moons, the moons can be seen at all times day and night, one is always on the east, and the other is always fluctuating sometimes on the west and sometimes next to the other moon, but they are constantly rotating roles, the moons are just as big as the planet itself, which creates a slingshot effect among the two moons, and the planet, across the solar system, due to this the seasons change rapidly, and there is no clear indication of season... temperatures fluctuate to well over the point where some areas rock completely melts and turns onto molten lava only to be frozen over by a snow storm the next day.
Despite the wild weather, the animals here have all adapted quitewell, they can predict the weather nearly effortlessly almost instinctively and can for example, instantly shed, or regrow fur. The animals like the humans are all descendants of a single kind of animal that once ate from the tree and was granted a gift that was passed down through genetics for life times to come, thus today we have animals such as the fire boar, who thrive in hot temperatures but due to the natural flames they let off from there body are unaffected by the cold weather, or the Steel Beetles, who burrow underground to get closer to the center of the earth to keep warm, or the trees and plant life, that grow through the ice to soak in the sun, and have learned to protect themselves by forming a cast around themselves that envelops them in lava and keeps them perfectly intact until the lava cools, where then the plant life will eventually grow through the now solid rock.
As stated, the world of Eden does not have any towns or cities, but it does have landmarks of great importance. For example the Tree of Might which rest at the north pole of the planet, and then its roots known as the roots of desolation rest at the south pole. Between the two large landmasses is a canyon, that stretches across the entire planet. These locations have become beacons for safe havens, albeit not for humans but more so for the wild life. One would have to survive the wild life, and obscure a means of survival bare and new world.
