Some Joy In The World.

The sand grew more violent upon Reox's entry, and while he attempted to free Joy, it did him little good. As the sand was not going to let her go so easily. Zero having engulfed Joy into the sand chuckled as she was forcefully kept conscious by shocking her with a form of electricity. The sand came flowing in and out of her body cutting away at her insides. An arm all of a sudden appeared around her neck as Zero finally revealed himself to her. "Sister... Joy..." He said playfully as he carefully pushed her into a sandy mound and held her there for a moment. All of a sudden, a fist came flying at him connecting to his face, but upon further inspection it was revealed that his entire body had been made of sand itself, as Zero did not have a true physical form, and was the embodiment of all the sand around them. Reox's hand was then pulled into Zero's face as if his face was made of quick sand, the more Zero would struggle the more he was pulled in.

"Give me the Jewel!" Another sand body appeared only to see a giant ball of sand heading towards him. He stopped it in mid air and the sand instantly hardened forming a rock like substance. Zero would then reveal himself to Lucifer as well and chuckled. "The jewel!" He then pulled out a sword and stabbed it into the ground as the earth began to break apart and lava began to rise from the dirt. The lava was being manipulated into a slip stream as it quickly came charging towards Lucifer in an attempt kill him.

Lucifer had trouble coming to terms with what had happened. He watched it all as if it was a scifi film, but it felt real, he felt alive even though he'd seen his own funeral, he knew 100% he had died. Then this woman brought him back somehow and he couldn't do anything but stand there in total fear. He was picked up easily by the spearman and went away with him, once they finally stopped he couldn't shake his fear, his body shaking slightly as he watched the man attempt to save Joy's life. He knew he needed to snap out of it but his legs still wouldn't move.

Joy could hear the commotion around her barely living body but she could not see anyone. The sand around her blocked her view and her eyes were filled with wet sand and tears. Feeling something other than sand appear around her neck she fully opened her eyes as her brother spoke. Any joy she had seeped out at that moment, as she saw this figure. Whatever he had looked like seemed to cause much fear within her, perhaps from how he appeared to her or even how she pictured what she saw. It was however unknown to anyone else but her, the image in front of her. The more she felt her inside being ripped apart the more she lost herself. Pain was a new feeling to her, and even misguideness with her new family member.

And soon after she felt her body being moved by hands, she could feel the warmth from them and sobbed once again. And as she was moved much mroe quickly her little mouth began to spit out the sand that had ate away the inside of her throat. All she could do was cough, before finally looking up to see who had held onto her so tightly. She gazed up to see bright emerald colored eyes and jet colored hair. This was not someone she had knew but she was not sure if she had felt grateful or ashamed. Her now small wings, which had gotten smaller from the attack began to move about, and become warm as they began healing the sand from her body. The large amounts of sand started coming from the pores of her skin as if the sand was surrounding the outter layer of it but so much of it fell off it that it was obvious it was not from the top part of her skin.

Joy wept as the sand fell, not sure why her brother had attacked her in such a manner or why he acted the way he did. But all she could do was shield her eyes as she spoke with a rasped voice. "Thank you.. But. Brother is not done." She could sense him better now, knowing his words were meant for her. She could only attempt to forgive her brother so that her own joy would not leave from her body.

Lucifer finally came to his senses again, watching the woman heal he stood up suddenly "Let me fight him. If this is a dream and I die I simply return to life. If this whole thing and these powers are real I can beat him." Lucifer clenched both fists as the sand and earth around him levitated and he sighed "Its time I stop running anyhow."

Before anyone could even get a word sand began to profusely fall from joys mouth pouring out of her body. The sand clusters in her pores began to expand, and soon a shaded image of Zero could be seen again his entire body covered in sand. "Kill Joy and give me the Jewel!" He yelled as a wave of hot sand erupted from his body. The sands reach was wide as it took the form of solid bone. Zero had purposely separated them as he could be in three places at once. He then grabbed joy by throat once more this time he took a blade made of sand and jammed it into her back. If one would try to grab the blade there hands would just slide through as it was just a collection of fine grains of sand.

The sand had pushed Lucifer back to the sandy clearing grabbing ahold of him burying him deep into ground. He wouldn't let up his sand morphed hand just pushed him deeper and deeper into the earth.

The sand harder around Reox forming several layers around him. Zero would then send him high into the sky while continuing to make several layers.

Right as Joy was about to express her being upset at being called a little girl Zero began to appear in front of her once again. And as she attempted to flee she was once again grabbed by her throat only to find kicking her feet useless. Her newly made friends were in trouble and she seemed useless to bring them smiles. And she could feel the sharpness of the sand going through her back, she let out a cry while speaking just barely within the grasp. "Bruder, please stop. It hurts." Another cry. Her little hands began smacking at the sand unable to do anything to it. The pain was not horrible to her but the idea of what was happening frightened her and she began to see a bit shaken by this figure tormenting her.

Lucifer felt no pain as he was shoved through the Earth, the sand hurt him yes but the earth itself juse bent around him. Before Lucifer relised he was bending the earth he crossed his arms, encasing the sandman in a ball of earth. He breathed heavily, that took a lot of effort.

Zero had grown tired, attempting to take the jewel back as the humans had grown annoying evading his attempts  to kill him. He currently was not strong enough to kill them with his full power, so a tactical retreat would be in his best interest. As the spear came down on him it pierced through the sand and did no actual damage. It had went through the sand and the sand simply stood there as a small sandstorm began to whip up once more. The sand clone had been encased in a ball of earth, but it would not matter as it was a simple clone. The true Zero then decided to flee but not empty handed as Joy was in the eye of the now giant sandstorm. He carried her off into the unknown, torturing her as he had done so before.
