Once Reo and Joy step from the portal landing back into the Wilderness. Except this time they had found what seemed to be a silent forgotten village. There had been a few very small wooden buildings in the shapes of squares. Some had been in the process of being constructed by were left without roofs as some were only foundations. Only three had flat tops to shield from bad weather but not completely rain would easily find its way down the cracks. Everything was huddled together near a very large open lake, a good spot for fishing but showed signs of lacking the water perhaps from climate changes.

Joy moved forward a bit looking around to make sure they had been safe from hard and everything did seem fine. Gesturing Reo to follow behind to look for anything of use here was the best option right now. Joy still unable to accept help from the human but still thanked him for his kindness, but wishing she had some way of helping him. Cursing the runes that bound her right now, they being the reason she could not heal or use her powers.

Peeking into the small shed like homes for tools it seemed impossible. It was as if who was here fled the area taking anything with them in the process. However in Joy's side vision she spotted a fishing pole, slowly moving to it and grabbing it. Holding outwards to Reo almost barely holding it up. "I know you must be hungry. Do you know how to use this?" Joy's eyes went back to the large lake not far from where they stood. Only a few feet away it was.

Reo followed her through the run down village, it seemed whoever had lived here, had fled in a hurry leaving the poor remains of a village behind, a pity really as it seemed it would have made a nice place, but something must have driven them away or eaten the past inhabitants and Reo hoped they didn't have to escape a similar fate. Looking into some of the houses curiously he had to admit everything here was pretty gloomy but it wasn't too bad, lord knows he'd been in much worse places; his memories supplied him of a planet that was hit and smelled heavily of sulfur with beasts and demons that lived that and sighed a bit deciding to make the most of it.

He wished he could help Joy remove the bonds that kept her from healing or using her abilities but it was vastly out if his league though he did hope she'd be able to find a way to break the bonds free soon, she didn't deserve to have her powers and healing ability restricted. Still he had decided to follow her, and he wondered vaguely if this made him Joys champion by technicality even though no Avatar had awoken him he still had the right to pick which Avatar he wanted to fight for right?

When Joy brandished the fishing rod at him he blinked he couldn't ever remember trying to fish before "I can give it a try" He said with a faint smile as he took it, he could see her struggling with movements and wished he could ease her pain somehow but being a healer had never been his strong point...being a protector had always been his job. Taking the rod he headed over to the lake and waked over the creaky little pier that had been sat up before he said down, his legs danging over the edge of the pier; then he unraveled the fishing rod tried to catch something to eat.

Joy watched Reo as he sat down, standing only a few inches behind him. She noted him kicking his feet above the water that hung over the small flat structure. Turning Joy moved to some soggy earth slowly move to crouch down digging her small hands into the ground. Her fingernails becoming dirtied with each motion until she pulled a worm from the soil. Joy gradually made her way back to Reo still watching him quietly. The worm beginning to fight against her holding it, she almost felt as if could relate to it right now. "Here use this on the hook. You will catch something faster." Unsure if she really wanted it but knew the survival was needed, Joy thought as she moved to his side. Sitting down with a small sigh, she mimicked what he did, placing her small legs over the pier. A breeze hitting her face, this was something she enjoyed feeling, it reminded her she had been alive right now when everything seemed so lost. Her hand was holding the worm out to him gazing at her dirtied fingers with a small smile.

Reo's eyes drifted to her before he took the wriggling worm from her grubby fingers "Thank you" He said softly; he held it between his fingers and a sliver of darkness deftly cut the poor worm in half, tying one half to the hook he kept the other half in his hand as he cast the line again; things were quiet and peaceful here and it was hard to imagine what could have caused the people here to run and scatter, maybe it was an avatar or maybe it was something else.

He had questions, about what Joy would do next, about why the Avatars were constantly fighting, he was revived, and even more curious, why he wasn't revived by an avatar, so far from what he could tell being awoken by an avatar to be their champion was the norm, but he held no such allegiance to any of them. "Can humans be awakened without an avatar?" He asked out loud softly; he didn't know if Joy held the answers or not, but he had to ask anyway.

Joy stared out into the water, as the sun began setting in the distance in front of them. Making her eyes squint as the rays reflected from the water. Moving her body slightly forward to allow the bare tip of her big toe to touch the cool pool below. Reo's question drew some confusion within her mind however, wondering why he'd ask such a thing if every human was woken with an Avatar there. With this fact she stated, "I'm afraid it's not possible." This made her question the answer once again. Feeling almost as if what she said was incorrect but that would not make sense. Joy lightly kicked her toe up splashing a bit of the water, making ripples throughout the water. Her eyes watched as every one of the ripples eventually joined together, but in that moment she saw a reflecting light but not from the sun hitting the water. This was one that did not belong and now her curiosity peeked, whatever it was had shown that the lake was not as full as Joy had thought.

Now Joy had begun to push her small body from the pier, and began to slid down into it. Letting out a small yelp as the water was colder than she had anticipated, however she cared little for whatever she just saw she had to get. Short legs barely touched the ground of this lake, toes holding her up completely, the water came up close to her chin like this. Moving her arms, attempting more to push aside the pain coming from all over as she swam closer to where she spotted this reflected light. Found it, she thought as her toes hit against something hard and her instincts told her to swim down to grab it. Once Joy did this holding her breath she just drew, she began to tug at what she found. It felt like a large boxed piece of metal, but she was beginning to forget to come back up for air as she tugged at this box which was buried deeply in the muck.

At her answer to his inquiry he frowned slightly because he KNEW it was possible or how else could he have been here; he knew the Avatars made a big show of wanting to be known and heard some of them gave their humans clothing others left them as they were naked and bare as the day they were born. Reo had seen neither an avatar or anyone put clothing on him, he'd just woken up fully dressed with the spear in his hand as if it was meant just for him and had always been there; his hope that Joy could give him some answers to his confusion proved to be false but perhaps even the avatars didn;t know some things.

"...I see" He said softly; he wanted to tell her that it was possible that he was a living breathing proof of it but he didn't want to discredit her or make her feel bad so he let it slide for now; he blinked as something seemed to attract the girls attention, as she waded out into the lake before diving under the water, at first he figured she;d be okay that she was just going for a swim but when she didn't come back up after a minute he got worried, setting the fishing rod side he jumped into the water and began wading in the water after her.

Diving under the shallow water it took him a moment for him to find her and after feeling around he realized she was tugging at something that was stuck in the lake, finding the edge of the box he jammed his spear into the edge in order to use the weapon as a makeshift lever and help loosen it up out of the dirt the darkness shooting out and wrapping around the box as well aiding in Joys efforts to pull it free.

Feeling Reo come to help her and pulling this box free she swam back up to the surface, choking up water that got stuck in her throat and mouth. Which made her head throb in small pains, after coughing and catching her breath Joy began to swim towards the side of the pier where the ground was. "Bring it." She motioned at Reo to follow as he held the box, barely caring for her safety would have cost her. But whatever that thing was, it seemed to almost call to her to get it, retrieve it from where it layed home. Joy pulled herself from the water dragging her small body as far up onto the ground as possible before laying onto her side. Her body ached badly from that event and knew she would be paying for it later.

Reo emerged sopping wet the strange mud covered box still in his hands before he nodded and dragged it back to shore, it was defiantly heavy even more so once it was out of the water; he was glad that Joy seemed to be alright after diving under water for so long; whatever this box was it must have been important he set the box down in the pier next to Joy before he crouched down next to her and began very gently rubbing her back in a soothing motion to try and ease her pain in the only way he could.

"Sp, what is it?" He asked as he looked over at the box; he couldn't tell much about it as the outside of the box was rusted and worn, no doubt from spending years in the murky water but it must be important for Joy to want to have it.

Listening to his movements patiently until he placed the metal-like box near her. Joy's body stiffened at Reo's hand on her back, knowing his intentions were to help her, but somehow felt almost as though she scorned it. Shaking her head to dismiss the thought Joy used her arms to push herself up the box sitting in front of her. Only staring at it for a few minute's, before responding to the question. "..I am not really sure." Joy's eyes never left from the object, placing her hands onto it and moving around the small bits of mud until her eyes began to grow wider as her fingers run along the runes. "Ipiyin Likxn Akwd." She spoke aloud forgetting Reo was even there for a moment but then noted to him. "It means, Avatar hands only." The runes were glowing lightly until they shown bright before Joy and the box began to almost appear invisible.

Inside this metal contraption lay a book, a tome with an apple on the cover this faded dark brown apple looked old and it poked from the light brown worn tome itself. Excitement began to fill Joy's heart, and it had shown upon her face as this. Her small fingers opened to the first page of the scripture, everything in ancient runes once again, the only people able to read these were Avatars, and if you looked further into the pages they would appear blank. She needed to keep this tome safe. Joy read the small first page line in her head, however just as she finished the line her mind began to jump. As if all the knowledge she knew of Eden began to make sense to her, things that had happened all came together as one whole. Images, voices, even events raced through her mind. Joy closed the book quickly, but the thoughts never ceased, and falter they did not, this was now all apart of Joy. All the knowledge she once knew now was hers and whole.

Joy moved the book to her chest, before standing to hover over Reo. "Everything makes sense now." A smile had shown brightly on her face, this once happy mind seemed happy again. But this did not seem to last long as Joy's eyes stuck to Reo's, her eyes changing to sadness as if she had seen an image of him that explained everything. "Forgive my sibling for causing you this agony..." As if she had began to answer his question from before, but Joy's vision became blurry as she held tightly onto the book, everything coming together all at once seemed to take a toll onto her frail body and weak mind. She motioned for a hand to reach out to touch the males hair lightly out of kindness, but instead her vision went black, her body beginning to fall forward onto Reo.

Reo watched her as she opened the box; as he suspected it was some sort of ancient artifact for the avatars, the strange language Joy spoke before she read the book inside seemed to confirm that fact, as she read in silence he wondered what sort of knowledge it could hold, but decided that it simply wasn't his place to ask, not unless she wished to tell him of her own accord.

At her words he looked confused coking his head to one side as he looked from her to the book "What? What makes sense?" He asked sounding bewildered; he didn't understand what she meant, the next words she said about him being in agony because of her family confused him even more; he wasn't in pain, at least not as far as he knew, but she could probably tell he was not normal for a human, he had so many souls, so many different incarnations and reincarnations of himself within this one body, but all and every version of his life seemed so true that he didn't think it was odd his story constantly changed because he saw all versions as the truth, and the stories seemed to suit his mood even though his personality, for the most part was consistent. "I don't understand" He told her gently.

As she started to collapse he ducked down and caught her scooping her frail body in his arms and held her gently to him in a way that was nothing sort of loving and protective as he would have done to his own children, treating her like she was his daughter even though Joy was no doubt far older then he was "..." He sighed and carried her inside of one of the more well built huts and lay her down, gathering up some firewood he made a fire to keep them warm before he decided to keep a watch out; in the end he hadn't wound up getting dinner but he was too concerned for Joy to want to leave her alone.

Not far from the small dirt area where the few small constructed huts a portal opened. With it being a bit secluded from eyes in a small wooded area, it would not be able to be seen completely by any eyes in the tiny looking deserted village. The sun in the distance was beginning to rise over the vast greenery of Eden. Sun rays gathering and warming the lands from the dew drops on the grass, little mists coming up from the warmth. The air still cool on the touch of the skin, but a warm breeze would sooth away any coldness. If someone would come from this portal they would securely step safely down onto dead leaves mixed with live ones, still wet from not being touched by the sun. And almost directly in front was the makeshift huts, almost impossible to miss.

Amelia stepped through the portal, her eyes still closed waiting for her to feel the dirt between her toes, tears welling in her eyes as paranoia was slowly taking hold of her, eventually letting out a deep breath as her feet made contact with solid ground. Her yellow eyes shimmering and dilating with the sunlight. She smiled and turned around to peer into the portal, not seeing anyone she merely called back to the group in hope that they could hear her.

"Come friends, the sun is rising in Envy's glory!" she declared like a herald with a large wave of her hands towards the sunset, her eyes glittering with moisture and the light that was entering them. Amelia's fake happiness brimming over any feeling of discomfort she once had as she waits patiently by the side of the portal for her audience, specifically Envy before making wide showy hand motions mentioning all of the colors and how they perfectly matched each of Envy's characteristics in rather silly and incomprehensible ways, her cuteness sinking in much like it was just floating in the air.

Keep running. Don't look back. Levia ran, her body screaming at her to stop. In the darkness that was the interior of the portal, Levia had no idea how long she had run. All she could think about was putting as much distance between her and Undine. Before her, she could see a growing light, signalling the end of the twisted hallway. Drawing on what little energy she had left, Levia dashed for the light, eventually exiting the portal and almost colliding with Amelia. In an attempt to stop herself from running into the cheerful girl, Levia tried to redirect her body, and ended up tripping. She barreled past Amelia, rolling to a stop as she gasped for breath. With the last bit of energy she had, she rolled onto her back, shielding her eyes from the sunlight with her right hand as her chest heaved between gasps. Bloody hell, i haven't ran so hard since the night i left home. Figures i'd wind up on the ground, too. Everything hurts now, and i cant move.

Envy's feet stepped from the portal into Wyrd with the others. At her side was Undine who seemed entrap by Envy, who was kind enough to pick up Undine up from under the shoulder allowing her to take small steps to get used to walking with her legs. But kindness was not her intentions for Envy was losing patience with the group quickly. As the sun's rays hit Envy's face everything went quiet for a moment, and what was left from one place to this came back. The drying ground began to be covered in thick fog, which went up to the ankles but stopped there almost perfectly. The colors of the sky began to warp around them, turning hues of gold and rose shades, the sun still shown brightly through it all. Envy stared at the other two females, first to Levia who was on the ground covering her face, then to Amelia who seemed more than thrilled for her presence. Allowing Envy to let out a darkish grin before speaking to each of them.

"Allow us to enjoy the day, look someone left us homes. We should be considerate and use them." Envy had heard humans enjoyed resting, eating and talking, so this was her small attempt at wanting what they enjoyed doing. "Come." Envy stated before walking side by side with Undine towards the small huts as she pointed slightly with her free hand. The fog at this point had been complicated to walk on, or see what you were stepping on to say the least. In random spots the wind seemed to burst greatly but oddly it never touched the fog to move it, only light movements in the fog could be seen but not enough to shift it. As Envy approached the center of the huts she stopped, turning her head to the side of where one of the huts lay. "It seems someone has beaten us to the area. And a presence I almost recognize?" Curiosity displayed onto Envy's face wondering who could possibly be known to her here.
