Ryusuke was a proud young Samurai in life. He ended up failing in one of his tasks bringing great shame and dishonor to himself and death to quite a few trusted comrades.. Since then he's gone nearly mute and still has issues dealing with it.  He committed Sepuku shortly after. He figured gods of one form or another wanted him to be alive again so he wanders, normally alone looking for people who need a warrior or protector in an effort to release him from his shame.
