PostSubject: Homecoming...   Homecoming... Icon_minitimeTue Feb 25, 2014 8:04 pm

The area was silent as a gust of wind blew the sand over closed coffins. It had now been two months in Eden's life span and the Avatars had made little progress in their own goals. Some more then others but things were now more dangerous with a new threat in the game. A threat that was even dangerous to them. On top of that the rules that they had been forced to play by had been broken, so a new set of rules indeed had to be established.

The assassin had teleported both Asei and Hatch back here of all places, she herself originally had been told she would never be allowed to return so this indeed was somewhat refreshing to her. She still did not show her face, as that was far to risky when near the tree. Her reason for keeping her identity a secret now playing a bigger role then before. It had been a long trip, one that had kept both Hatch and Asei sleeping for a total of fifteen hours. The female had attended to their wounds as they rested. She also kept them safe from harms way. She started to attempt to wake them up from their slumber gently shaking and nudging them. She was nervous that they would attack her, but she knew she was safe here of all places.

As the assassin attempted to wake the two Humans, The avatar of life was the first to appear. He was wearing a grey cloak, his true face hidden, like so many of the other avatar had so commonly done. He quickly removed his hood and revealed his more avatar form, rather then hiding his face he did not have one at all. When he arrived the tree's leaves became clear and transparent, representing the coming of life. "You did well, my champion" He said calmly as he then turned to begin climbing the tree. He found himself a nice branch to sit on, and then plucked a single apple, he began to eat it... as for him it did not grant power but nearly tasted bitter, which life was indeed... a bitter soul.

The next to arrive was Death, he to was cloaked as he rode on a black stallion and several of his Heralds, the spirit apes followed him feasting on the souls that leaked out from his body. He was silent as he arrived and found a spot out of the shade of the tree and stood there. He did not say a word, but his entire body began to fade into its ethereal form, and as it faded the once transparent leaves on the tree quickly changed and they all began to fall off the tree. This representing Death, as all things must do.

As time moved on a dark mist had rolled in and it soaked the tree in water. Wisdom, or Wise one as he was often called slowly began to make his way  to the tree. He was walking rather slowly, as he was the tallest of the avatars, and physically he looked the strongest. He had a single eye resembling a cyclops and this was the first time he had left the Avatar realm since his creation. With each step he took, the earth shook and upon reaching his way to the tree the leaves began to grow, and along with the leaves came black roses. Once he had made it over the moat, and past the coffins he calmly took a seat letting gravity do the work for him as he fell on his behind as if his legs had just given out on him. He then looked up towards life, and then towards death and scoffed resting his chin in his palm.

The next Avatar appeared flying down on what appeared to be butterfly wings, she could be heard giggling as she gracefully landed on wisdom's shoulder, and while she did not have a face, one could only assume she was happy. Empathy always had that essence about her, when ever she was around any of her siblings she was indeed happy no matter who it might have been. Noting that the assassin was attempting to wake up the two human beings she decided to help her do it. Using her omnipotence she forcefully injected the two with a sense of shock. When she had done this her essence slipped out and the trees leaves began to take on a rainbow colored assortment.

All of a sudden one could hear snoring behind the tree, and upon further inspection sloth could be seen resting his eyes underneath the tree. He was in his human form for a change, and was at peace clearly prepping himself for what he knew was about to come. Once feeling his presence the tree would then change from rainbow colors to a regular tree with nice green leaves.

These Avatars had all gathered here for a reason, and they all sensed that the other were coming as this would be the establishing moment for what is to be the fate of Eden, its Champions, its Heralds, and its Avatars.

The skies of Midgard shown brightly in her eyes as Asei floated upon a large lake she had recognized, the one she would seek to watch him. Her swan like appearance was as divine as an angel alone, as she moved herself closer to the land. Am I dreaming? She asked herself. The land had shown an almost dark appearance, the sky began to grow grim rain poured down hitting against her feathered body, ripples forming around her within the deep lake. Alarm seeped within Asei, the surrounding area began to grow out in winter, the air became stiff and cold. The lake began to freeze from under her, becoming stuck within ice she could not get free. Night ascended in the skies, the stars were no where to be found. Fires began to burn the greenery that was left, smoke filling the icy air. Lifeless bodies appeared slowly on the land, screams.. So many screams she could hear. As Asei turned her small beak towards the chaos; there he stood, battling his own kin their eyes seemed soulless and bound on death. She flapped her wing desperately in vain the ice held her strongly refusing to allow her free. As so many others surrounded him, thrusting their weapons into his body, over and over. He cried out from the pain she could see the tears he held, felt their meaning. He'd fought with everything left in him until left alone he moved his bloodied, beaten body closer to the lake where he fell before her. Eyes locked, he'd smile faintly at Asei. " My Valkyrie, awaken."

[[The Loss]]

Asei snapped awake feeling as though her body had just been jolted with a shock, the dream filled her mind before realizing what was going on before her eyes. She could not recognized where she was. And all around were beings she did not know. Had she died again? Her eyes stayed halfway closed, sleepy she had guessed. However the dream had made her feel too much emotion which she could feel on her face the wetness. She quickly jumped up and moved backwards away from what she guessed were Avatars. Her recent run in's with them only caused pain and death which at this point she did not know if her mind could stay stable to deal with it. Her eyes found the male she had seen just before she lost consciousness. he was awake more than herself and he was also on edge. Asei did not even realize her breathing increased dramatically as she worried about what was about to happen. Her eyes going to the brightly red, torn up cloak that fell to the ground.

Bolting to his feet, eyes wide and head whipping side-to-side in alarm, Hatch grabbed the masked girl from behind and put his sword to her throat. The cold edge grazed her skin, drawing a trickle of blood as the assassin looked around at the assembled avatars. After a tense moment the false sense of panic subsided and he withdrew the blade from the girl's neck as he regained his composure. He pushed her away with a rough shove but kept his sword drawn and held at his side.

"What is this about?" he asked harshly, no apology for nearly slicing her throat open. "I've long since tired of these ridiculous games."

"My Brothers and Sisters, it is so lovely to see all of you.. And some human friends! What an eventful day!" Joy floated down from above the group, in her human appearance she has three sets of large white wings, short straight white hair along with one eye shades of dark green and gold and the other eye with shades of dark purple and dark blue. In this form she looks to be of a young teenager around the age of fifteen or so. Joy spotted her sister Empathy and her mouth widened bigger as she moved closer to her. "Empathy!" Joy grew excited as she acknowledged her sister. Floating a few inches from the ground she looked at all her family here, placing a smile upon each one her eyes found. One could easily sense that Joy was truly apart of the word itself. She'd shine through her personality to be thoughtful and caring completely and even a bit childish. "We should have more guests! Allow me." Joy floated towards a closed coffin that had been near the group she waved her hand across it as small translucent butterflies dispersed.
"Awaken my friend.."

“I saved two bullets Hiro, one for you, and one for me.” Key told the other sadly. That wasn’t how it was supposed to be, Kioshi was supposed to live! Hiro still begged him not to, though there was no other option, Kioshi put the gun to Hiro’s head, and pulled the trigger.

Hiro gasped in a shaky breath in the unfamiliar darkness, he didn't care where he was or how he got there, nothing mattered. His eyes began to fill with tears as he pushed off the lid of the coffin and sobbed into his hands, the didn't see any of the figures around him as he cried. He assumed it was some form of the afterlife and everything was over, done, with no way to change it.

Upon feeling the blade against her neck, the assassin retreated right away, teleporting towards her Avatar. Life then healed her of the minor wound and leaned into her ear to tell her something. Upon nodding in agreement she vanished once more, appearing behind hatch in less than a second she simply grazed his weapon and teleported away with it. It rested at the top of the tree. It followed up with her appearing in front of the dazed Asei, and taking her hair piece away from her as well. She stood at the top of the tree guarding these two items.

Life looked over his shoulder towards Hatch and Asei, "They will be returned to you when we are done here" He then walked out to take center stage; he welcomed Joy with a pleasant expression. "Hear me Avatars... if you do not wish to lose you place... do not attempt to take those weapons... or risk Craven" Life simply said this as a means to protect the weapons from any avatars who would wish to gain an extra advantage. He then looked towards Hatch one more time, "Do not attempt to claim your weapon back until it is time Pride" He had been referring to Hatch as Pride. He then turned away from them and sat tinkering with his hands in an attempt to amuse himself as he waited.

The other avatars did not bother speaking or voicing their opinions as big brother life, was always shouting on and on about rules and boundaries. It was as if they had become accustomed to listening to him. On the other hand as Joy had entered the area they all seemed to disregard her as if she were the little sister who was to pure to understand the world and its darkness. Empathy however would join her and embrace her with a hug; a moment of two avatars embracing each other could only be seen between these two.

Wisdom had sat observing the situation, gathering information after all was how he played it, he would start calculating ways to get those weapons despite his brothers orders, but the thought of if he should or would do it had yet to show itself. If he had attempted it, the threat of Craven fell on deaf ears, but the human who was protecting the weapons was certainly a threat... anyone who attempted to get close would certainly get teleported away. He let out a grunt as his single Cyclops eye ran calculations in every aspect imaginable, as he attempted to play out the future in his mind.

Rage would be the next to show up as he emerged from the clouds on a carriage carried by flying unicorns. They would land gracefully as the Avatar wore a blindfold over his eyes. Upon his arrival a unicorn transformed into his power axe and he dropped it on the ground, causing the earth to shale. "I am not here to play games... the moment a rule is broken... I will start swinging" He snarled obviously, rage was not one for these petty meetings, but it was important enough for him to come here as he was the cause of it.

Courage was the next to appear phasing in from below the ground. He did not speak he just sat with his makeshift legs crossed. His palms together as his sun shaped head sat perfectly still. He waiting for the outbreak of words, this was the calm before the storm.

Greed was walking in the distance with a human forearm with teeth marks rested in her hand. She would occasionally lift it take a small bite, as she was always hungry. One could see that behind her she had a cube of some dead, and some living human beings that she had collected. These were to be her morning, noon, and late night meals. Some of the few who could still speak were all screaming for help, but all of the avatars ignored them as they had already been claimed. Greed was covered in blood, as she tossed the bone on the dirt right before the moat. She grabbed a single human by the head before stepping onto the bridge to get into the sacred grounds. He screamed and pleaded for mercy, right before she snapped his neck and slurped all of his organs and blood from his body. "That should hold me over until this stupid meeting is over" She said as she departed from her Cube, for a second. She then turned around once more and began to just take bite out of her cube. Forever hungry greed could not truly stop eating. She killed 10 more bodies and carried those with her into the moat, "This is fine right... they are already dead... so I didn’t kill them on sacred ground.... I am just eating them...." She said verifying her loophole to eat while at this meeting. She had human flesh hanging from her teeth, and while she ate so much her slender frame, made it appear as if what she ate never went anywhere.

Where ever Greed and Rage went, Pain was sure to follow, as he appeared right after her eating on the pain that the humans were in. He was covered in swords that he had impaled himself with. He then went over to Greed and smiled, "Here... eat me instead" He spoke as if he were the calm kind brother who cared for his little sister. He held his arm up to her and as if she had been given the best gift in the world, she began to slowly nibble on him. Piece by piece he was slowly being devoured. She ate him slowly because while she was a bottomless pit... eating too much of him too fast would have consequences. This was not a new concept to either of them, as Pain enjoyed the Pain, and Greed enjoyed the meal.

Fear then appeared with a leash wrapped around a small lime haired girl’s neck. She was also childlike in nature, she resisted the best she could, but with one look fear had paralyzed her. He was forcing her to walk on all fours over the bridge and towards the tree where fear would observe the situation, locking eyes with the two humans first a grin could be seen on his face.

The girl on the leash, was sadly Envy, she would not speak having given up that right to Fear. She held a distasteful look on her face as she then looked up to Fear with a hopeful look in her eyes. Fear chuckled, "What’s that... you want to be free... well come on girl... speak..." Fear had complete mental control over her, in short he had been playing on her fears and in an attempt to have them not used on her she played by his rules. She then let out a few whelping sounds, and eventually it turned into a bark. Fear chuckled and dropped the leash. Envy stood up on two legs and dusted herself off. Her silver hair was tangled and messy as she tried to comb through it with her fingers. She looked up to her sisters Joy, and Empathy and then looked for her sister Pride. She waited patiently for her arrival as she had not seen her in some time.

As more and more avatars appeared they all began to take their mortal forms. As this was how they knew each other.

As this girl took Asei's hairclip her eyes grew wide with anticipation. However this Avatar had said they would be returned and that no Avatar shall touch them, she still felt as if this was going to go downhill for herself and Hatch. More so for herself. With all these Avatars appearing, and even more began to step into the scene Asei felt more panic, but at the same time she'd hope Will would some how show.. But with that small hint of hope it died just as quickly as it rose when more Avatars came, and no Will. She moved closer to Hatch and grabbed her cloak from the ground placing it around her once more. She stayed there knowing she felt a bit more safe near him than these god like beings.

"It doesn't seem they will be answering many questions." She spoke to Hatch in a small voice. Not sure why they had been brought here in the first place she'd hope they would not stick out too much, simply because right now she was most vulnerable. Her eyes went over to the new human that had been woken, almost grieving for their sadness whatever reason it had been. To be woken up in a situation as this was going to scare them if not make them do something stupid.

Crossing his arms over his chest, Hatch glared with impotent fury at the avatars as they arrived. He was entirely fed-up with being jerked around like a marionette in the hands of a bunch of insane puppeteers. If they hadn't taken his sword he would have turned and left right then, taking his chances in the wilderness instead of having anything further to do with the avatars.

Hatch closed his eyes, inhaled deeply, exhaled slowly, and sought to calm the boiling sea of anger that raged in his head. Blocking out the world around him, he focused on his breathing until his heartbeat returned to normal and he could think clearly. His dark brown eyes opened again and he began to calmly analyze the situation, carefully observing the avatars and watching for any signs of weakness he might be able to exploit.

Turning his head to the side, he looked over his shoulder at Asei. He still didn't know anything about her, not even her name, but he recognized her as a potential ally.

"Not with words, no, but we may yet learn why we're here." The assassin replied, turning his attention back to the avatars and absent-mindedly gripping the lapels of his jacket to adjust his collar.

After Joy embraced her sister Empathy which no one else could see, she happily moved back to the coffin where the human had awaken to find him crying. Confused, Joy touched the top of the boys head. "There, there. Do not cry boy, you must be hungry!" Joy made an apple appear in her hand and crouched down to him placing the apple in front of him. Her other hand still rested on the top of his head. "Eat this! You will feel much better, I promise!" A wide smile lit across her face as she spoke. And instead of giving him the chance to decline, she simply used the hand on top of his head to move his hands from his face and placed the apple to his lips. Her smile never leaving her face.

"Were going to have a party. I want you to enjoy it with me."

Hiro dried his eyes and calmed his breathing before he noticed not only were his arm and leg back as if they had never been gone at all but he was naked. He scanned the area, clenching his fists when he saw Greed, Fear, and Pain. Where was he? Who were all those...monsters? How was he breathing? He looked between Joy and the apple strangely, why was she being so nice? And why did she have wings? The questions continued to pile up as he bit into the apple, not thinking twice about it. He swallowed and wiped the juice from his lips, "Where...am I?" He tried to remain calm as Asei and Hatch caught his eye, they didn't look like the others, and obviously didn't want to be there. Something in him told him to trust Joy, she didn't seem to mean him any harm so he guessed it was okay for the time being.

His eyes were slightly red from the crying and Hiro tried desperately to forget the scene he had just experienced, death. Kioshi was dead, he reminded himself. So why was he still living, when Kioshi was the one who deserved it?

PostSubject: Re: Homecoming...   Homecoming... Icon_minitimeSat Mar 01, 2014 10:31 pm

A few minutes went by in silence excluding the interactions amongst the humans. One could see the unrest in some of the Avatars, mostly in Rage. He was the first to express himself in his discomfort. "For the Avatar of bloody fucking Time he sure does take his sweet fucking time getting here" He roared, and it echoed across the land. As he had finally managed to settle down, a single dice rolled over the bridge, and managed to land its way right in front of Hatch's foot. Then once again in a flash of light, Hope emerged from the dice taking several bows, as he did so. "Greeting brothers... sisters... hopeless mortals... and..." He paused for a moment, eyeing his prize as the female assassin guarded the two treasures. "Maybe not so hopeless mortal women..." He finished his sentence and just gazed up at the sword, he had wanted nothing more at that moment.

Similar to Joy, Hope was also ignored as he was to be considered the youngest brother of them all, and the only person he had any maturity value over, was Joy, but that was only in his own opinion. Courage let out a sigh as Hope made his flashy appearance, the embarrassment a bit too much for him to accept. "You really should find a new thing Hope... the entire magician thing is stupid... brave... which Is why I gave you credit before... but stupid..."

Spirit had timidly appeared above sloth, hiding in a tree. It was completely masked and stayed that way not announcing its presence.

Time then appeared carefully taking each step, it was as if he had seen every possible outcome, and every step he took was to make sure he made it to the outcome he wanted to make it too. With each step he managed to make his way towards Asei. He looked her up and down upon seeing her; he looked her up and down and was slightly curious. "Hello, I do not think we have had the pleasure of meeting... would you like to get a look into your future?" He smirked and held his hand out towards her. In that instant, Rage intervened yet again smacking his hand away. "Quit with this treachery" He then quickly walked back over to his little area.

As the last two of the Avatars had arrived, life clapped his hands together "At last we can begin." He then pointed towards Death, as he was the first to mention things of great importance. "As of less than twenty four hours ago, I claimed the soul of our sister... Pride... her omnipotence and powers dispersed into the atmosphere of the Avatar realm, and the last remains of her are living inside of her Champions weapon... her weapon to protect her from Omnipotence, As we have no one to represent her I nominate Hatch to be the new Representative of Pride and he shall forever take her place in all of her matters..." Death then raised his hand, "All who oppose speak now, if none oppose then let us welcome our new brother Hatch"

All of the other Avatars after hearing these words all turned to look at the male assassin. Each face had a different expression to an extent. No expression was without its own sense of worry.

PostSubject: Re: Homecoming...   Homecoming... Icon_minitimeSun Mar 02, 2014 4:40 am

As Hope made his entrance Asei grew lost in herself once more. Remembering what happened, which at this point only seemed just minutes ago. All she could think about was his words to her in the portals. These beings might hold emotion, feelings, but in her eyes all she could see was hatred, and death. Her mind went back to Will, he however did show her that Avatars were not all horrible but she also knew that even the human they did show, they lacked the complete drive as normal humans did. Asei eyed Hope as his seemed to gaze upon the items removed from them, it almost seemed obvious he had wanted at least one to himself.

She grew lost into her thoughts once again obviously missing the approaching Avatar. Hell at this point she could not really focus on any one, she'd truly just wanted to hide, away from everything.. Everyone. Just as Time approached her she gasped at his question eyes wide, unsure and confused. Gazing at his hand that was out to her. "..I..Why.." Before she could respond a large hand pushed the offering hand away. Which made her back away from everyone at this point, if she could not even concentrate on what was happening around her she would never be able to return Will's omnipotence. Which at this point was her only goal other than retrieving him from where he was stuck. However she was curious if this avatar seeking to tell her information could tell her where he was being held. Mind is losing reason.

Asei snapped back when she heard the clap coming from an Avatar; Life who seemed to be in control of this 'meeting'. Not able to entirely concentrate on everyone but only words spoken, she heard the mentions of this male human, Hatch, being the representative of Pride. So she was dead. That feeling of the death in the Avatar Realm was really there, Asei felt sadness for this death because she did not enjoy knowing of anyone dying, even if it was an Avatar. She watched this Hatch closely from behind now, moving herself to a tree being comfortably away from this attention towards him. Because it only seemed at this point she could not even hold herself together let alone allow others to visually see her falling apart.

Hatch raised an eyebrow in surprise; they wanted him to take Pride's place? It was unexpected, to say the least. Assuming he even had a choice in this matter, his options were still extremely limited: accepting their proposal would undoubtedly carry a great deal of risk, but if he declined he would eventually find himself being manipulated by the avatars once again. Perhaps this would allow him to regain some control over his own fate.

"I will stand as Pride's Representative." The assassin replied, even though Life had not asked for his opinion. His cold, unflinching gaze met the humanoid faces of the avatars without fear, as if daring them to stand against him.

As Hiro bit into the apple, Joy smiled with her eyes closed. And as he asked her where he was she simply said, "It is a party. Enjoy it." She left him there as she pat his head standing, she saw her brother Hope and jumped with glee. She waited for his entrance to be complete as she anticipated for him to walk near her and as soon as his entrance was done she pounced onto him, and barely weighing anything he'd probably barely notice. And some time after her childish embrace Life began the party, which made her even more excited. Barely unable to hold in her excitement she covered her mouth with both of her hands.

As soon as this human stated that he would represent Pride, Joy was just beyond excited and fell over onto the ground slowly and as if something was under her to catch her she floated above the ground and rolled around giggling. "A new Brother!"

"A party…?" He whispered, listening to the avatars converse, it was obviously a serious issue, whatever they were talking about. Hatch and Asei were the only humans, so he wanted to go to them, but something in him made him weary of everyone. He looked around the area once more, debating just running away, but he didn't think that was a good idea either so he sat and waited for Joy to be done with…whatever she was doing. Her innocent smile had drawn him in and made him want to trust her.

None of the Avatars had said anything right away; you could see the expressions of this issue weighed heavily on their minds. If Hatch were to become the representative of pride, then technically speaking what would this mean in the case of their own deaths... would they really just be replaced by a human... not that it was entirely possible... no human could wield the true raw power of an Avatar. The first person to speak on the matter was Fear; he slyly took the center of everyone’s attention. He couldn't help but laugh at a majority of his brothers and sisters. "Afraid of a human, now loves... really... the worst he can do in his current state is what resurrect one human... he would need more power to do more... and he can't feed of aspects of humanity like we can... so he will never come close to being as strong as we are... even with the sword..." He scoffed and then turned an eye to Hatch; he wanted so badly to use his abilities on him, a test to see just how easy it would be to frighten the proud fighter. He knew the rules, at a moment’s notice he would face the wrath of his brothers... and often times those punishments were far worse than death. He scoffed and went back to his corner... "Let him do his worse... nothing he could do would amount to even a quarter of what we could all truly do to each other" Fear had voiced his opinion and everyone had agreed, they had tackled the thinking process with if the master of Fear had told you to face your fears... you probably would do it knowing no harm could come out of it.

Death then addressed the next issue that being of Will and Lust. "As you know... the traitor... the one who refuses to take on any Champions... was finally bested... The almighty tree... our father! Forced a champion on him! the girl you see here... is said champion... she has no fruit... and like her avatar as far as I know she refuses to do battle with the other champions, after knowing many things that we swore not to tell the Champions... as we all knew Will would be a menace to our goals... Lust went out to find him, and she did... to make matters better... she caught him... without his protection... thus he is vulnerable... and the punishment for breaking the rules is indeed one we had all agreed on except Will of course... none the less... to my point" A portal from the Avatar realm then opened up, as five soul apes carried out a broken and beaten Avatar of Will.

Will was unconscious at the moment, his energy drained. Life continued, "As you can see we have him and his only Champion right here... we could kill him right now, and then make his Champion take his place..." said Life. "Or we could kill them both and eliminate the need for Willpower..." said death.

Courage was the first one to deny them the right, quickly coming to Will's aid. "No we should not kill either of them, everyone deserves freewill even us... he was the only one of us to go against the games yes, but do you really think it’s fair that we punish him just because it inconveniences us"

As courage spoke his words, the Avatars all shifted locations in an instance, using portals navigating in and out of the Avatar realm. They had all taken sides revealing where everyone's true priorities had rested. Life, Spirit, Wisdom, Empathy, and Pain all stood on one side. Death, Greed, Envy, Sloth, and Rage stood on another side. Courage, held onto Will standing in the middle of judgment.
Hope, & Time, stood together on their own tangent, & Fear, stood alone not picking a side.

The first question to be asked upon this shift was pointed towards Hope and Time, Life was curious. "I should have figured as much... you two worked together to take down Pride... her death was no accident... you played her and the Human all along!" Life was clearly a bit pissed off at their trickery. Time chuckled to himself. "Be careful not to get too attached to one human in particular... it could be their downfall..." He snapped his fingers once as a Black dragon appeared and began to circle around the tree. In particular it was eyeing the female assassin. Tensions were running high as things had become very hostile, very quickly.

Courage then raised his hand in peace, "I say we move onto another matter... the real reason we have come together... Lust has been kidnapped correct!" Rage chuckled, "And with good reason... Bitch stole from me... so I made her pay for it, albeit it I had no idea things would turn out like this... a Human... who can detain Avatars... how delicious is that" He let out a roaring laugh as he had felt justice had been served.

Spirit then intervened, slightly pissed off with his naive nature. "What you don't realize as this Human is a threat to us all... we can't heal him! He had Lust Omnipotence protecting him... but can easily imprison us... and what if he figures out a way to take away our protection... then what... we end up like Will!" Her hood had come off, and one could see the angry and worried disposition on her face. She let out a few tears, "I was there when it happened... he doesn't just steal your life force... and you omnipotence... if he wants... he tortures you with your own powers... those bandages just let the Avatars power run wild... even having an effect on him... in this particular case... he rapes her... if he were to get his hands on anyone else... who knows how it would affect him... the ability to harness and release fear on anyone... or worst case scenario... he manages to harness death and life... to make us go through an eternity of torture"

Her words had set the tone quite clearly; this being was the bigger menace and had to be dealt with.

As Death spoke about Asei and Will, she knew she fell short of losing the interest of the Avatars by keeping quiet and moving away, but for this being to talk so lowly of Will infuriated her. And when the portal opened with Will coming out unconscious Asei lost herself completely. "Will." Moving forward until the words about killing him, or both of them was mentioned. Instantly stopping in her place keeping her eyes on Will. After that most of the spoken words sounded only blurred within her ears. She'd not lived to this point just to allow Will to die in front of her.

It was not until the Avatars moved to sides when Asei snapped from her moment. Hope within her eye sight once more she tried her best to keep her ground and not fly at him with hate. Which as easier than she thought because she knew right now the Avatar she wanted to have at was Lust and by the sounds of it she was already getting back what she sowed. Noticing the Avatars were talking about a new subject off of Will and herself she started to move in closer to Will, at this point she did not care if the others did not wish her to try to aid him.

Hatch just smirked and kept his silence as Fear went on his little tirade; even though the avatar was being incredibly insulting he was actually helping Hatch by convincing the others that the assassin was "harmless". Fear was a fool if he believed his own words: as far as Hatch could see the avatars couldn't actually do anything to each other unless they lost their omnipotence, and without that they were as vulnerable as any mortal. And even with their immortality they could still clearly be injured and feel pain--if Hatch ever figured out a way to keep them from teleporting all it would take was ten minutes, a dull knife, and some hot coals to drastically change their perspective on how much of a threat he really was.

When the topic of the "human threat" rolled around Hatch's interest was piqued again. A man with the ability to bind avatars sounded like hilarious poetic justice. For the first time Hatch wondered just how many other humans were in this place--the thought had never occurred to him. He started to consider the potential of allying with other humans against the avatars instead of fighting with them as the avatars wished. This bandaged man they spoke of would be a powerful asset in disrupting the avatar's game...

Even when the talk of killing off her brother will brought light tears to Joy's eyes. Yes, she disliked to have her family die because then there would less of them for her to play with. The tears that had formed quickly went away just as fast, she really wanted to play but everyone was busy here. Her fingers from one her hands began tapping away at her chin as her eyes peeked around. Even the human that still sat within the coffin was boring to her. Joy fell over once more and had debated on an afternoon nap. As she floated a few inches from the ground as before, one could hear her light snores if they listened.

Hiro saw the bloody Will dragged out and knew he had to get away. He saw that everyone was focused on what they were doing and decided to take that chance to run, he ignored the fact that he was still naked and slowly headed for the bridge, he prayed that no one would notice and he would get away unharmed.

Rage was the first to speak on the matter, after all it was his Champion... "Once again... no concern... I could easily tame my Champion... but yes indeed... you should all fear our power... as he is doing my bidding... and I did not break any rules with him acting with my rage" He scoffed leaving it at that. He then turned back to Will grinning... "My vote is that he and the girl die... and with that I have nothing further to say here... so I say good bye... unless you have rules you want to change"

Time quickly jumped in front of him blocking his path, "You can not leave yet... we have one more issue..." Hope chuckled, "Yes you see... we have been thinking about how things have been and we just find all of the rules to be a waste of time... so me and time have come up with a new set of rules... how about we lift the the embargo on killing each other and we let Will live... it just seems fitting to me... this way we don't need to vote... Will has that fighting chance that some of you want..." His eyes glanced at the weak courage. "All of you who stand for mass killing will get what you want... and all of you who want to preserve order... can have what you want... good old fashioned... survival of the fittest...Natural.... order...." Hope couldn't help but chuckle, as the essence of hope for all of the avatars goals had been lifted up in the air. Hope took in a deep breath and inhaled said essence. "Now you see guys... everyone wins... you can even still keep your protection... you just lose your immortality" He then snapped his fingers once as the several dice began to fall from the tree.

A majority of Avatars all nodded in agreement, thinking about it more deeply. Life and Death were the very first to agree, as they had their immortality no matter what, Rage followed them in their vote, as he felt he was to strong to die, by the hands of any of his siblings. Fear would not raise his hand out of fear, but Envy raised her hand out of jealousy of her siblings. Courage raised his hand, because he was certain he would fight for his brother Will. Spirit, Sloth, Pain, and Greed all agreed as well, willing to give up their immortality in exchange for the chance to kill all of their siblings and put an end to this, Hope and time of course had their hands raised as it was their idea. Empathy did not raise her hand as she preferred the rules the way they had been. Wisdom followed her as he did not care either way, he simply would sit and observe till the bitter end.

As they all had their hands in position of their vote they all turned their attention towards Hatch, waiting for him to make the final vote. While the majority was in agreement with this, they were curious as to how Hatch felt considering he would still be at a major disadvantage. This would mean the avatars would have full right to use all of their omnipotence on each other, the moment they could disarm another avatar, this also meant that the avatars would have to always have their weapon physically on there person or risk death from any moment. Essentially this was slowly becoming a death race, and the moment Hatch made his vote the battle was on.

After she crouched down to Will's level she'd noticed his weakness even more. Asei's eyes stared at this large beast of an avatar with cold eyes as he stated about killing both Will and herself off. In her mind she cared little about herself, and wanted to make sure Will survived. But as Hope began to explain a new set of rules Asei panicked. This feeling had been haunting her as of late and now it began to arise from sleep once more. Even so it was obvious Will was in no position to defend himself and she held little power herself. It seemed as if this new set of rules was her own doom, moving her face back to look at Will she prayed somehow that he would wake from his slumber to find a way to get them out of this area.

"Gods, please wake up Will." She spoke in a whisper more to herself than him. When the final count came into play she'd tightly closed her eyes knowing this was about to happen. If she could get her hands on that hair clip, it may be possible to manage a portal some where. But that girl had it, and she would not be giving it up. Asei glanced over at the guarding assassin girl and then to this human figure who had taken Pride's spot. And even noticed finally the boy woken had began fleeing, she did not blame him and it was best for him to retreat.

Seeing all eyes turn to him, Hatch extended his arm and held out his hand, palm-upward. The meaning of this gesture was unclear for a moment, until a faint whistling sound came from the air overhead. A silvery flash of light sparked above Hatch as his sword descended from the sky, spinning wildly like a buzzsaw yet missing every branch and leaf of the great Tree as it fell. The hilt landed perfectly in Hatch's hand, and the assassin raised the sword over his head and pointed it skyward, the sunlight glinting almost blindingly from the blade.

"Let it begin."

Joy peeked an eye open as the human began to sneak away from the group. She grinned and let out a small laugh, because he made it seem like he wanted to play chase and she wanted to play a game. Jumping up she opened a portal and went through it to appear in front of Hiro. "Don't run! I wanna play. Let's go some where else it is going to get ugly here." Joy grabbed the boys arm before giving him a chance to say anything and dragged him with her into a portal, jumping between a few rather quickly before he could notice what had lay between them.

Wisdom was the first one to show his weapon, it was a ring he wore on his finger, Rather then fight, knowing it was pointless he decided to leave right away. Opening a portal to the avatar realm, which followed a series of portals in multiple areas to throw off anyone who decided to try and chase him down first. He then shrouded himself taking a human form, he would use his abilities to fool the people in Haven so that he could hide among them.

Hope and Time stood back to back, protecting each other, Hopes item was of course a 70 sided die, that he had turned into an ear ring. It hung from his right ear but he didn't use it to fight. He held a die in-between each finger a total of eight of them. He was ready to do battle with anyone who came at him. Time on the other hand held a hatchet in his hand, ready to chop of any ones hand. It was his item of choice as it held an hourglass inside of the metal blade.

Sloth took on his beast form ready to do battle, as a spear appeared in his hands. His first priority was oddly enough the biggest threat in the area. He charged right for rage, whose avatar weapon was indeed his giant axe. They clashed the blade of the spear grinding against the axe, as they pushed against each other. It was quickly interrupted by Fear who used his bare hands to seperate their blades. "You are forgetting the true goal here... we need to kill the humans!" He then forced them both to look at Hatch, and they both roared with a beastly nature. They were clearly pawns of their own aspects. Fear dominating them in the end, Slot charged towards Hatch , with Rage following behind him.

Life had to decided to flee from the battle, and Maria was now showing her face as things had become pointless. Maria and Life both were not infront of Asei, and Life personally handed Asei her hair clip. "I am sorry we could not have met on better terms... I give you my most humble apologies" Maria then grabbed the avatar by the leg and they both vanished teleporting away to safety. They headed towards the tallest mountain where they would hide inside of the great divide among the beast. Maria was very familiar with the area as she had been living there since she had awoken.

Death sat quietly waiting, the first to die he would claim their souls. He was forever and did not fear death as he knew it would come for him and someone would eventually take his place, but it could not have been an Avatar and thus he waited. The other avatars would be stupid to try and fight him as he was the one true immortal.

Greed had left the battle area, but she didnt travel far she went towards her cube of human flesh and began to eat once more, the pressure of the situation made her need comfort food. She simply ate and ate, not able to handle the chaos. Empathy being tired of not fighting has approached her, and with a surge of power she fired a blast of rages, emotion into the cube of human flesh eradicating it. Greed had grown upset at her lack of food and locked eyes with Empathy, "Well I will just eat you instead!" She twitched growing slightly unstable as she charged at Empathy with her mouth open wide. Her mouth took a huge bit out of Empathy's shoulder but the power of the Avatar overwhelmed her, she would have to calm down before she took another bite. Using that moment to take advantage of Greed, Empathy fire another rage shot, and then charged at Greed grabbing her by the throat and slamming her into the ground. She then began to pummel her face into the ground being fed up with the pain and suffering that greed had caused so many.
