Miracle: Eternal Famine - Oriana is forever hungry no matter how much she consumes. All of her body fluids are highly corrosive with her saliva being the most corrosive and her body can digest almost any substance, even those that would kill a normal person.

History: Oriana was exiled from her village because of her green eyes. Green eyes were said to be the sign of a demon and so she was cast out. Her family had kept her hidden for years but eventually they were discovered and lynched for harboring a spawn of the devil. And so Oriana was left to live on the outskirts of the village at the age of 7.

Life became difficult and she had to relay on the good will of strangers to even have food to eat. Not many people passed by very often and most of them were scared off by her eyes before she could even say anything. One day, a few months after her exile, she was laying beside a metal shack she had found. She was so hungry, she could hardly move when she noticed a man on the side of the road fall over in exhaustion. He had obviously been traveling for a while and he looked like he might just die any second. Oriana was about to run over to help him when a thought ran through her mind. "I'm so hungry...what if I...eat him?" She thought. "It would be so easy..." She slowly got up and wobbled over to the half-conscious man. He head was spinning from hungry and she could hardly stand up straight. She pulled the small knife she kept for defending herself out of her dress pocket and a twisted smile spread across her face without her realizing it. She was too hungry. All rational thought had been thrown out the window. "DO IT!" A voice within her seemed to order her as she plunged the knife into the man's neck.

A horrific scream was heard for only a moment as the knife pirced his neck. It was quickly replaced by the sound of choking and gurgling. The metalic smell of blood filled the area as the liquid sprayed from the would, covering Oriana's hands and dress. She pulled out the knife and plunged it into his neck for a second time, completely silencing his cries. She waited until his squirming stopped and he was finally dead, before pulling out the bloody knife. She put away her knife and began dragging the body away to her shack with what little strength she had left.

She first rumaged through the man's bag. He seemed to have only a bit of cheese which she immediately devoured but that was nowhere near enough to satisfy her starvation. She gazed at the body. The whole reason she had killed him was to eat him but now she was having second thoughts. Before she could hesitate, the voice pounded in her head commanding her go through with it. Her stomach growned painfully and her eyes seemed to glass over with a foggy tint. Without another thought, she put went back to the man's bag and started pulling all of its contents. The bag had a cooking set in it which she started setting up along with a camp fire. She behaved almost mechanically. She lit the fire and used a machete the man had to cut off his arm. She then cooked and ate it ravinously. The smell of burning wood and flesh caused her to gag but she continued to eat until her hunger was sated.

Over the months, Oriana found herself killing more people. She had to do it to survive but, more importantly, she found that humans tasted...delicious. She loved the taste and couldn't get enough. When a traveler that didn't know about the curse of her green eyes passed by, she would use her innocent looks to lure them in before murdering them.

A rumor started spreading about a demon living in the outskirt of the village that was causing people to disappear. The voice in her head had completely taken control of all her decisions and her list of victims seemed to increase faster and faster. At some point, she had stopped even washing the blood off her dress and body, enjoying the smell and feel like some sort of monster. Eventually a hunting party was sent to find and exterminate her. It was late at night and the party were obviously in over their head. She stabbed one in the eye and cut off another one's head all with a wicked grin on her face. Her bright green eyes seemed to burn with joy as she slaughtered them. She had brutally murdered six hunters before she felt a huge object hit her in the back of her head, knocking her unconscious.

Oriana woke up in a dungeon cell off in a prison just outside the village she once lived in. Though she was the only one in a cell and the rest of the place seemed abandoned. The whole place smelled damp and unmaintained. She sat up and stared straight ahead but there didn't seem to be anyone around. In front of her was a tray of food and a cup of water. She felt her stomach growl and quickly ate the food only to immediately vomit it back up. She had grown too used to eating human flesh and now normal food just made her sick. She grabbed the cup of water and drank, forcing the liquid down her trout. When she finished, she crawled to the corner of the cell and hugged her legs to her chest. She seemed to think of nothing. She just stared at the floor mindlessly as the hours rolled by. Silent tears fell from her eyes.

She must have fallen asleep at some point. When she woke up, the vomit had been cleaned up and more food was set to replace it. Not that she could even eat it. She was starving but knew she would just throw up again if she tried to eat the food. Several more days passed and she never met the person who was bringing her the food. "He must be mocking me." She says weakly, her mouth struggles to make the sound after not talking for so long. She wasn't even aware it had been that long. "Why did it turn out like this..." Something suddenly clicked in Oriana's head. "...maybe I really am a demon." She started laughing yet tears were streaming down her face. The laughter quickly broke into sobbing as she feel over on her side, no longer having enough strength to even sit up. The cold stone floor felt strangely warm. The voice in her head started pleading with her but she no longer listened to in. She passed out from hunger and exhaustion and died before the following morning came.
