A slow start.

Finn realized how much of a coward he was being, running away when he was already dead. He shook his head and turned around, standing next to Kayla and facing Sloth. "I'm not gonna run. It doesn't matter if I die, I'm already dead anyways."

The tortoise let out a sly chuckle, and then went completely stone faced. "You don't." He said in a blatant tone, before turning into stone and then becoming one with the sand. Sloth roared one more time and as Kayla came charging at him he charged at her grabbing a hold of the stick and using it to toss Kayla behind him as he continued to charge forward. A grin could be seen on his face as he then grabbed Finn by the skull. The beast held him for a moment and began to dig, a hole. After doing so he put Finn in the hold and left him there with only his head sticking out. After doing so he ran up to Abram smiling, as he waited for the male to stop cowering. He held up his claws in a boxing manner, to show a bit of sport, as if he was indeed toying with them.

Finn struggled as he was held up like a doll in the air, he had no clue what 'powers' he had gotten from the fruit or how to use them but he hoped he would figure it out soon. He looked to where Kayla had been thrown and hoped she was okay, once he was buried and couldn't move any part of his body except for his head, he had no choice but to watch Sloth provoke Abram.

Kayla was surprised at being tossed, thought she quickly twisted her body around and landed on her feet; she noticed how much slower her reflexes were before...had she been reborn without all the enhancements the scientists had inflicted on her? The answer seemed to be yes, still she couldn't allow Sloth to hurt the others she she picked up the stick again charged again while the beasts back was turned this time she speared the sharp en of the stick into the back of the beasts leg where the knew would be hoping to cripple it. "I SAID RUN DAMNIT!" She screamed at Abrham; if she could get him away then all she had to worry about was Finn who was now buried in dirt.

A Majestic eagle began hovering above, it was relatively big in size as in swooped down from above and grabbed Finn by the shoulders. It then carried him off to safety, inside the eagles talon was a green jewel embeded in the skin. The eagle kept screeching as it was in pain.

"No!" Kayla cursed as Finn was dragged away before she could do anything; realizing that it was just her and Abrham now she yanked her makeshift spear our of sloths leg and ran grabbing Abrham by the arm and dragging him along with all the strength she could muster to get them out of there alive"

All of a sudden an arm appeared from a portal separating the two. It was the arm of the avatar courage pulling Kayla to a safer place.

Kayla yelped as she was torn from Abrham bt something pulling her backwards, in surprise she dropped the makeshift spear and lost her grip on Abrham as she was pulled away through some sort of portal "Let go of me!" She snapped as she tried to slap the hand away turning around to face the one that had 'saved her'
