History: Alexander was a bright child. From the time he learned to read, he was always reading books. He was brilliant in all subjects but he always seemed to have a special intrest in science. He graduated from high school as valedictorian and was accepted to every college he applied to but he decided to go to a college in Japan that specialized in training scientists.

Near the end of his fourth year of college, both of his parents contracted cancer. The nearby nuclear reactor had melted down, bombarding people with radiation for miles and condemning the entire area. His parents had been on just the edge of the effected radius and they had escaped, fortunately or unfortunately, with only developing cancer. His parents passed away in a hospital after suffering from an advanced form of leukemia. Alexander was devastated. From this point, he devoted himself to become a cancer researcher so no one would have to have their family die from it again.. He obtained a PhD in 2005 and was hired by a Japanese cancer research organization. He married his wife, Shouji Akira, in 2010 and had a child in 2012.

Alexander quickly became one of the leading cancer researchers in the world. However, as he became more and more involved in his research, he started paying less attention to his family. As if fate was mocking him, his wife developed a deadly form of cancer just after their daughter's 10th birthday. She died only months after. After this, Alexander completely threw himself into research. He hardly paid attention to his daughter at all, forcing her to learn to fend for herself. He worked long hours, sometimes sleeping at his laboratory. He had become obsessed.

In 2028, he was convinced he was cursed. He himself had developed cancer after exposure to radiation in his lab. Despite this, he refused to stop working. Even as cancer ravaged his body, he continued to work until it was painful to even move. He became bedridden and his 18 year old daughter was forced to take care of him. But as he lay dying, a sort of miracle had happened. The white blood cells in his body had mutated in an unusal way and began destroying the cancerous cells. He was cured. His own blood had become the cure for the disease.

The miracle was short lived, however. That night, a burglar broke into his home and killed both him and his daughter. Fate had opposed him one last time and he was never able to share his discovery with the world.
